Square Inch Price
Great news! I'm thrilled to let you know that I charge only 2 cents per square inch for designs! Imagine the possibilities! For instance, if you have a quilt top that is 60 inches x 80 inches, the total cost would be only $96!
60 x 80 = 4,800 inches x $0.02 = $96.00
Please note that my minimum quilting charge is $50, which means that even if you have a small quilt or table runner, you'll still get the best value for your project!
Backing
I can also piece your backing together if needed for $10/seam.
Please note, backing fabric must be a minimum of 8" larger than your length AND height of quilt, so I have enough extra to load it onto my machine. You can designate if you would like me to piece your backing on the Book a Quilt form.
Batting
As a convenience to you, I have batting for purchase for a separate fee which is not included in the E2E price per square inch listed above. Purchasing your batting through me is fast and easy, competitively priced, and potentially saves shipping if you are mailing your quilt top and backing to me.
Batting is charged by the linear inch from queen-size rolls, or from a package for king size.
I carry Hobbs 80/20 blend, priced at $9 per yard or $0.25 per linear inch.
For your quilt, I will use the necessary amount (shortest side plus an 8-inch margin) and charge accordingly.
For instance, a 60" x 80" quilt would require 68" of batting.
Thus, the additional charge for Hobbs 80/20 batting would be $17.
68" x $0.25 = $17.00.
Thread
I am thrilled to offer you the exquisite Glide #50 weight threads that give your quilt a stunning finish! And guess what? The thread charges are already included in the per-square-inch price of just $0.02! While I usually try to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt, I am completely open to your preferences. Sometimes an E2E design and thread color that pop are like the icing on your layer cake. After all, it's YOUR quilt and I want it to be perfect!

Custom Quilts
I'd love to make a quilt just for you or someone special!
Custom quilts are a collaborative effort! I would love to sit down with you and design something truly special.
The best starting point is a quilt pattern that is already commercially available (there are thousands to choose from!) and then we select fabrics to suit the intended use or recipient.
Sometimes this might mean meeting at a local quilt shop to make selections together, or I am happy to make recommendations based off your preferences.
Custom Quilts require a $150 consultation/design fee, plus a 10% deposit of the estimated total to get started.
The chart below is to give you an idea of cost, but please note, my $35/hour fee is the most variable item and will depend largely on the pattern you choose.
To get started on your custom quilt, email me at the link below, I can't wait to hear from you!
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me:
I live in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind plastic bag to protect against possible moisture in transit. Make sure the package is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping:
I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. I'm required by the State of Missouri to collect a 8.475% sales tax on the quilting service portion of an invoice. Fabric/Materials, Batting, shipping, and any design/pantograph fees are not subject to sales tax if outside the state of Missouri.
Payment
After your quilt is complete, I will invoice you via my accounting software. Venmo is my first choice of payment, I also gladly accept cash or check if you are picking up in person. I really do appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail your project(s) back to you right away.
